28.11.10 - It's Charlton in the Youth Cup

Charlton Athletic on Wednesday beat Bury Town 4-0 in the FA Youth Cup 2nd Round at Welling United's Park View Road ground. Carrow Road awaits the Addicks in the third round with the match set to be played on Tuesday December 7th.

The Canaries recently lost in the Academy League 3-1 at Charlton, so it will clearly be a tough game for Ricky Martin's men.

23.11.10 - NORWICH LOSE OUT IN CLASSIC

Norwich were involved in a seven-goal thriller at Copers Cope Road.

Kick-off was delayed by 15 minutes due to a traffic incident around the Blackwell Tunnel approach, but that was the least of manager Ricky Martin's worries, who was yet again hit by injuries and unavailability. ... more ...

12.11.10 - HOME DRAW IN YOUTH CUP

Norwich City have been given a home tie in today's FA Youth Cup third round draw. The Canaries face Charlton Athletic or Bury Town from Suffolk in a tie to be played before 11th December.

Bury Town last night defeated Bromley 5-4 in a thrilling game at Ram Meadow to earn the chance to travel to the Valley for the second round match. Charlton defeated Crawleay Town 2-0 in the first round.

By coincidence Norwich visit Charlton tomorrow in the Academy League, giving them a chance to assess their potential opponents first hand.

09.11.10 - CITY DIG DEEP FOR 3-3 DRAW

With six of his squad sidelined through injury, Ricky Martin was down to the bare bones on Saturday when the table topping Canaries played host to Southampton.

It was a gutsy performance from Martin's makeshift side who battled back from 3-1 down to earn a share of the points in an entertaining game for the Colney regulars. .... more ....
