City Reserves recorded only their second win of the season when they beat Brighton at Colney yesterday by the odd goal in three. Keith Webb's side had to come from a goal behind to beat the visitors, with goals from Olly Willis - his first at Reserve Team level - and a winner coming from Dean Sinclair. The game did not burst into life until Brighton took the lead on 35 minutes, when Matt Piper converted a left wing cross from close range. City struck back just five minutes later when Ryan Jarvis, fresh from his excellent showing as a substitute against Derby the night before, crossed to the far post for Olly Willis to tap the ball home, registering his first goal for the Reserves. Into the second half and Lee Blackburn saw a headed go inches wide of the upright after a good cross from Willis. |
