Most FONCY fans will know that committee member Richard Bland has this fantastic achievement where he has seen a Norwich City side play at over 200 locations. That total was due to top 250 at this week's Reserve team fixture at the new M.K.Dons Stadium. Plans had been made to present Richard with a special cake to mark the event, however the best laid plans, as the saying goes, all fell to pieces when Richard in fact made the 250 mark some two weeks previously when the first team travelled to Spotland, a ground Richard had not been to. We could not let the occasion pass, so a new cake was purchased to celebrate ground number 251 and Richard was presented with the cake by Lee Croft shortly before kick off and then later by a couple of passing cows. It was all hands to the pumps for the travelling Norwich contingent and the cake was consumed at half time. To top all that The Reserves joined in the celebrations with a victory over the Dons with goals from Rossi Jarvis and Michael Spillane to make it a night to remember. |
