Draw Against The Cobblers

NORWICH CITY UNDER 16's 2 NORTHAMPTON TOWN UNDER 16's 2

For the second time this week Norwich City Academy welcomed Northampton Town to Colney.

After their Under-18 side were beaten in midweek it was the turn of The Cobblers Under-16 side to take on their Canary counterparts.

In the event the visitors twice took the lead before City pegged them back.

While Northampton were denied what looked a certain penalty in the second-half, they were pleased to hold onto a draw after City piled the pressure on in the final quarter of the game.

Town took the lead with a well struck free kick on the quarter hour mark and held the lead up until the break, although City went close through Michael Spillane and Seb Muddel.
