The Stobart Stadium

The Academy is gearing up for Thursday's FA Youth Cup match against Everton, to be staged at the Widnes Vikings Rugby League Ground (The Stobart Stadium in Halton). The ground is no stranger to football with Everton Reserves regularly staging their home matches at the venue. Academy Manager Ricky Martin has put a detailed preparation programme in place for the young Canaries, who travel up to Liverpool on Wednesday.

City travel up Wednesday morning and will stop over at Aston Villa's training ground on the way for a training session. Ricky Martin expresses his thanks to Villa Academy Manager Bryan Jones for the use of the excellent facilities at Boddymoor Heath. It is then onward to Liverpool for what will undoubtedly be an early night at a local hotel. On the morning of the game the squad will visit the match venue before resting and then the final preparations for the match. All at FONCY wish Ricky and the boys the very best of luck!
