Man of the Match and Goalscorer Danny Kelly

Despite going a goal up after just 17 minutes through schoolboy Danny Kelly, Citys Academy side went down 3-1 at Southampton on Saturday in what was their final game of the season. Matt Paterson equalised for the home side from close range just a few seconds before the break after David Williams side had dominated the first half. The Saints however stepped things up in the second half although it took them until 75 minutes to take the lead when Cedric Basaya headed home. They extended their advantage a few minutes later with a Jake Thomson shot from the edge of the area..
