Ricky Martin was without the services of Dario Dumic who is currently on Danish U17 duty in Sweden competing in the Nordic Tournament where he faced both Scotland and England over the weekend.
City went a goal behind very early in the game after they failed to deal with a set piece but they drew level on the half hour mark when Danny Kelly headed home a Luke Daley cross.
The visitors fielded a completely different starting 11 for the second half and might have gone on to win the game had it not been for a string of fine saves from Canary keeper Declan Rudd.
