Goals from Richard Brindley [35], Jamar Loza [50] and Ryan Oakley [60] saw the Canaries run out comfortable winners even after they were reduced to 10 men when Remy Matthews was shown a red card for handball outside the area with around 15 minutes left to play.
With no substitute keeper the Shrimpers number two went in goal for City and pulled off a couple of decent saves to deny his team mates.
