Aston Villa Under-18s 5 Norwich City Under-18s 1

Away Day Blues Continue

Whilst they have a 100% record at home, City's Academy side are still to record their first away win of the season after they conceded five goals for the second consecutive time on their travels on Saturday with Aston Villa running out comfortable winners at their Bodymoor Heath training ground.

Ricky Martin was without the services of Sam Habergham and keeper Jed Steer but there was a place on the bench for Alex Stephens who has been sidelined since the start of the campaign.

The home side led 2-0 at the break but not before the Canaries had wasted a handful of good opportunities to take the lead.

The second half saw Villa find the net three more times with City's only reply coming via the penalty spot from substitute David Nwaogu.

City Line-Up: Hewitt, Brindley, Gordon, Dumic, Francomb, Clarke [A. Stephens 75], Ball, Osemwegie, Dawkin, Kelly, Drmola [Nwaogu 60].
Subs Not Used: Jones, Roberts.

Norwich City Man of The Match: Danny Kelly.
