The Academy got together at Colney last Friday for a pre-season photo call. Ricky Martin took the opportunity to announce that Neil Adams would as from Monday be assistant U18 coach as well as continuing his role as U14 coach. Neil will take U18 training on both Mondays and Tuesday and join Ricky for matches when ever his roll as Radio Norfolk co commentator alongside Chris Gorham allows. There was also the opportunity to catch up with Bryan Gunn’s latest 3 signings in the shape of Dario Dumic, David Stephens and Sam Habergham who all signed pro contracts just last week. This now takes the total former Academy products in the current first team squad to 11, including Chris Martin and Michael Spillane. The Academy season gets underway on Saturday August 22nd with the lads facing the long haul to Leeds United. A full list of fixtures will appear in the next day or two. Photos
