With Training due to start on Monday 28th June, the Academy Under-19 squad was invited up to Colney on Sunday for an "Induction Day" to get themselves prepared for the return to work.

With the first team back in training on Monday, Sunday was set aside for The Academy squad to report to Colney for their induction day which included the five new scholars, Andrew Fiske, Andrew Cave-Brown, Joe Lewis, Adam Gusterson and Rossi Jarvis all signing their contracts with the club.

It was also the first opportunity everyone had to meet David Williams, who has joined the club as the new Academy coach.

Both David and Ricky Martin talked in great length, explaining what is expected of the lads and what the lads can expect from the Academy staff.

The lads start back in training on Monday with the first few days dedicated to various fitness exams and tests.

The Academy season kicks off on August 21st, between now and then there are three pre-season friendlies arranged, as well as a training camp in Denmark for 5 days.
In early July we will bring you full information on the pre-season games and the build up to the league season.

FONCY will of course continue to keep you up to date on all that is happening at the Academy over the coming season.
