| England Under-17s qualified for the European Championships in Germany in May with three wins in their groups matches in Hungary. Jed Steer was in goal for the first two games against Portugal (1-0) and Serbia (2-1) while Sam Habergham made his England Under-17 debut in the final match against group hosts Hungary (2-0). Our congratulations go to Jed and Sam. | ||

Josh Dawkin was in Turkey with Wales Under-17s for their qualifying group. The Welsh side is managed by former Canary favorite and Academy coach David Williams. The Welsh got off to a good start against hosts Turkey and could have won a game which ended 2-2. However a 3-0 defeat against Finland in the second match left Wales with only a mathematical chance of qualification going into their last game against Romania. Wales won that game 3-0 with Dawkin grabbing the third goal to finish the tournament on a successful note. It still wasn't enough to qualify however with hosts Turkey going through to the Germany finals with Wales in second spot in the group. |

Dario Dumic was not so lucky with Denmark Under-17s in their qualifying group. The Danes got off to a great start with a 4-0 win against Norway with Dario at the heart of the defence. The second match against Belarus was lost 2-1 however with Dario getting a red card for a second bookable offence in time added on. This meant the Norwich Academy star had to miss out on the deciding group game against hosts France which Denmark lost 1-0, so failing to qualify. |
