BALLY SMART CLAIMS FONCY PLAYER OF THE SEASON AWARD Second year scholar Bally Smart has picked up the Friends Of Norwich City Youth Player of the Season Award. FONCY committee member Colin Tovell was on hand to present Bally with his award at the club's Open Day last month, while the chairman caught up with Bally at Colney on Sunday to present him with the plaque that was then returned to the trophy cabinet at Carrow Road. It has been a memorable season for the fleet footed winger who made 20 appearances for the Under-18's and a further 17 appearances for the Reserves. However the highlight of his season will no doubt have been when he came on as a second half substitute for the first team in the game against Burnley at Turf Moor. FONCY would also like to congratulate keeper Steve Arnold who picked up the club's Academy Player of the Year award, Steve also receiving his award at the Open Day. |
