As The Academy closed its doors for the final time this season it was time for FONCY to present the Des Holl Memorial Plaque to the Academy Team of the Season.
Des was one of FONCY's first supporters back in 1995 and along with his wife June they made donations to FONCY every year, as well as supporting the Academy sides every weekend.
When Des sadly passed away FONCY decided that they would award the plaque to the Academy team of the year in his memory. This year it was the Under-12s under the guidance of John Revell who picked up the award, and with all the other teams in attendance along with many parents they received warm applause for their efforts throughout the season.
