The curtain was brought down on the Academy season when at Carrow Road last week John Landamore was on hand to present the annual Des Holl award to the Academy team of the season.
The award is made to the team of the year chosen by the Academy coaching staff and is presented every year by FONCY to remember one of our first supporters who sadly is no longer with us.
When the award was first made it took place at Colney but this year Dean Rastrick pulled out all the stops to lay on a special event at Carrow Road that also included for the first time an award to the player of the year from each age group.
The event was hosted by Neil Adams and included interviews with Ricky Martin and Academy scholar Tom Adeyemi.
In a hotly contested event it was the U11's who picked up the award along with their coach Matty Wright, with all the players being presented with a highly sought after FONCY lapel badge and a FONCY car sticker.
