29.07.04 - UNIQUE ADDITION TO AUCTION

There will be an additional item at the FONCY auction at the club's Open Day after Delia Smith donated her famous Proton away shirt.

The shirt - the only one of it's kind - was worn by Delia throughout last season's promotion campaign and, with Delia all set to sport one of the new away shirts for the coming Premiership campaign, FONCY were delighted to be given the old shirt that has been signed by Delia and is all set to go under the auctioneers hammer on Sunday August 8th.

29.07.04 - SUCCESSFUL DAY AT COLNEY

It was certainly a good day to be a Canary supporter at Colney on Wednesday with all four Academy sides that were in action recording wins.

The Under-18's got the ball rolling with a 3-2 (Crow 2, El Ouargui) victory over Rushden and Diamonds. For a full match report and photos click here or on the picture right.

Meanwhile the Under-16's recorded a 4-2 victory over Rushden and Diamonds with the City goals coming from Adam Mills (2), Seb Muddel and Andrew Howell.

Later in the evening Danish side Brondby were the visitors at Under-12 and Under-14 level. City recorded a 6-1 victory in the younger age group, while the Under-14's ran out 2-1 winners.

While there are no games over the next few days at Colney, three age groups (the U10's, U12's and U14's) will be competing in the Watford tournament with FONCY actively involved sponsoring the travel arrangements.

26.07.04 - RENEWED INJURY SETBACK FOR YOUNG STRIKER

Josh Clarke Injury Setback Report
News of another injury setback for promising Academy striker Josh Clarke will be a shock to all FONCY and Academy supporters as Chairman John Landamore received an update from Academy Manager Ricky Martin.

Josh, who had done so well to fight back from one knee injury last season, suffered a similar injury to his other knee in training recently.

Every one at FONCY wishes Josh the very best for a full and speedy recovery.

25.07.04 - MORE DANISH VISITORS TO COLNEY

Denmark is very much the "in" country up at Colney at moment. Following Thomas Helveg's arrival and with two young Danes from Hvidovre on trial with the Academy, this week sees further Danish visitors on their way to the Canaries' Training Ground.

Brondby, the top danish side from Copenhagen, will be sending Under-12 and Under-14 sides for friendlies games against their Norwich counterparts this coming wednesday. Kick-off will be at 6pm, with these games following on from the afternoon Under-18 friendly against Rushden (2pm).

25.07.04 - U16 DRAW AGAINST THE COBBLERS

It was the turn of the Under-16s to take on Northampton Town in a pre-season friendly on Saturday. Honours were shared in a 2-2 draw with Chris Martin and Sam Willis on target for Norwich.

21.07.04 - SUCCESSFUL START TO PRE-SEASON

It was a successful start to pre-season action at Colney this afternoon as the Under-18's ran out 4-0 winners against Northampton Town.

The Canaries included two Danish youngsters in their side, with both Per Weihrauch and Asmat El Ouargui making a good impression, the latter scoring the fourth goal.

City's other goalscorers were Danny Crow, Robert Eagle and a Joe Harvey own-goal. For the match report and a range of photos click here or on the picture left.
The next action at Colney is on Saturday when it is the Under-16s' turn to take on their Northampton counterparts in a midday kick-off.

16.07.04 - PRE-SEASON ACTION STARTS WEDNESDAY

The Academy Under-18's kick off their pre-season this coming Wednesday 21st July with a 2pm kick-off at Colney in a friendly against Northampton Town. The Under-16's will also take on the Cobblers, this will be next Saturday 24th July with kick-off at midday.

Northampton were also visitors to Colney last summer when Norwich ran out 4-1 winners. For the match report from last year click here.

Meanwhile the traditional visit to Beccles in the Jack Constance Cup is scheduled for Monday August 16th. As further fixtures are confirmed we will publish information here.

12.07.04 - AUCTION CATALOGUE NOW AVAILABLE

Following on from last weeks Auction Preview we are now pleased to be able to publish the full catalogue for the FONCY Memorabilia Auction to be held at the club Open Day on August 8th.

Around 40 items are all set to go under the auctioneer's hammer with several interesting items alongside the usual large selection of shirts.

Once again FONCY will be conducting their famous memorabilia auction at the Norwich City Open Day that this year takes place at Carrow Road on Sunday August 8th.

Around 40 items are all set to go under the auctioneers hammer and earlier this week the City players were on hand to sign shirts and various other items.
