21.06.05 - GERMAN GIRLS ENJOY COLNEY KIT

SV Menden Girls

Some of the ex-Colney training kit sold on the FONCY stall at the club's Open Day has made it's way to Germany and is now proudly worn by the Under-15 girls team from SV Menden, based near Bonn. Following an appropriate donation to FONCY funds, a set of Digital Phones kit was handed over to the girls by FONCY Webmaster Paul Standley. The girls are no strangers to Norwich, having visited our fine City last October, playing two friendlies and taking in the Everton Premiership game at Carrow Road. The girls pass on their thanks to all at FONCY and Norwich City for their help.

21.06.05 - 2001/02 REVIEW We have used the summer to break to update some of our Academy history pages. Our look at the 2001/02 season updates our full Under-19's Results Page from the season and adds a summary of tournament action from the season. The season review will be completed with a look back at the Manchester United Under-14 match at Carrow Road during that season as time allows.

09.06.05 - INTERNATIONAL UPDATE ON ENGLAND U20's, 19's and 18's

Ian Henderson

Ian Henderson was an unused substitute as England Under-20's lost the semi-final of the Toulon tournament to hosts France on Tuesday. England went out on penalties after a 0-0 draw and Henderson will now be hoping for a decent run out in the Third Place Play-Off against Mexico at the weekend. Ryan Jarvis, meanwhile, has been nominated in the England Under-19 squad to contest the 2005 UEFA Championships which will be staged in Northern Ireland in the second-half of July. Joe Lewis has been with the England Under-18 squad this week as they prepare for their friendly against Norway on Friday at Port Vale (7pm kick-off).
