22.08.05 - CONGRATULATIONS JOSH
|
One of our visitors to our online guestbook enquired as to the progress being made by third-year scholar Josh Clarke who you will remember suffered the agony of a third cruciate ligament injury in just two years. We caught up with Josh on the day that he received his A-level results and we are delighted to report that on the 3 subjects he sat he did well on all three with a straight A in English Literature. As far as his recovery from injury is concerned, there is clear progress being made and Josh is working hard with Academy Physio Rod Dyer. Josh went with the squad to Denmark for the pre-season training camp and since returning from there he has started to increase the amount of running he has been doing and within the last few days he has started to do work with the ball which is obviously a big confidence boost for him. |

15.08.05 - UNDER-14'S BELGIUM EXPERIENCE An Academy Under-14 squad will class their tournament last weekend in Belgium very much in the "experience gained" category, finishing 17th in a field of 24 teams. As so often, it seems, an early defeat cost the Canaries dear in an opening game they really should have won against a local side. Later, having failed to qualify for the last sixteen, the Canaries rallied to win what Ricky Martin called the "Inter-Toto" competition for places 17 to 24 and finish on a positive note. We will bring you a full report with plenty of photos later this week. |
