20.11.05 - SHANE HERBERT JOINS THE GILLS Academy keeper Shane Herbert has joined Gillingham on a deal taking him through until the end of the season. With England Youth international Joe Lewis ahead of him, chances were limited for Shane at Colney and former Canary Paul Crichton, now player-coach at Gillingham, was involved in setting up the move which gives Shane a fresh chance. We are sure that Norwich fans will join FONCY in wishing Shane all the best at Gillingham and thanking him for the part he played in the Norwich Academy which included being part of the 2001 Northern Ireland Milk Cup winning team. |
