11.12.05 - YOUTH CUP PREVIEW
City's Academy side will be hoping for plenty of vocal support when they take on Chelsea in the third round of the F. A. Youth Cup at Carrow Road on Monday night. (Kick-off at Carrow Road is at 7pm.) David Williams has been waiting on the fitness of three of his players before he announced his starting line up, and it looks to be good news for Canary fans with both Adam Gusterson and Andrew Fisk in the starting line up. This leaves just Andrew Cave-Brown of the three injured who has not been included in the starting eleven although Williams has named Cave-Brown as one of the five substitutes. |

City Line-Up: Lewis, Thrale, Bexfield, Spillane, Gusterson, Jarvis, Muddel, Fisk, El Ouargui, Martin, Smart. Subs: Cave-Brown, Eames, Daley, Miller, Arnold. The winners of the match face a fourth round tie at either Brighton or Port Vale who play each other on Wednesday evening. |

02.12.05 - JOSH IN LINE FOR SUBS BENCH AGAINST MILLWALL David Williams' side face Millwall at Colney on Saturday [12] in what will be their last Academy League game of the year. The game however could be one to remember for striker Josh Clarke who is all set to be named as a substitute for the game. Now in his third year as a scholar, Josh is yet to play a competitive game for the Academy since he signed terms at the start of 2003/2004 season. |
Most fans will know that Josh has suffered not one or even two but three cruciate ligament injuries that have seen him sidelined almost from day one. Academy Manager Ricky Martin insists that it will be David Williams who will make the final decision if Josh gets on or not depending on how the game is going. If you are not going to Derby get yourselves along to Colney to cheer Josh and the lads on. |
