06.06.06 - CITY CLAIM THIRD PLACE IN FRANCE

The City Squad in Baisieux

A Norwich Under-14 squad consisting of players born in 1992 and 1993 had a successful time in France last weekend, capturing third place in the Baisieux international tournament near Lille. The team only lost once - in the semi-final against OSC Lille - indeed this was the only game in which they conceeded a goal. Despite a couple of injuries, City put in some good and at times inspired performances to leave Academy Manager Ricky Martin generally pleased with the weekend's work. We will publish a full report on events at Baisieux in the near future on this website - watch this space!

01.06.06 - UNDER-14's IN FRANCE

An Under-14 Academy team travels to France this weekend to contest the Roger Heneman Trophy in Baisieux, near Lille. The organising club is A.S. Baisieux Patro.
City will be hoping to improve on the Sixth place they achieved in the tournament last year and face Valenciennes, Mons (Belgium), Werder Bremen (Germany), Wasquehal and the hosts in their group. FONCY plan to be represented at the tournament and we hope to bring you a full report on this site during the course of June.
