| 08.02.07 - INTERNATIONAL ROUND-UP | |
|
It has been a busy week at International level for current and recent Academy Scholars. Andrew Cave-Brown has been captain of the Scottish Under-19 side in the La Manga tournament in Spain. Earlier this week the Scots beat Austria 3-1 and then drew 0-0 with Slovakia. A win against Norway in today's final game would make Scotland winners of the tournament. Meanwhile Scotland Under-17's have played two friendlies in Northern Ireland this week with Kris Renton playing a full 90 minutes in yesterday's 0-0 draw in Belfast. |

Back in Ireland Mark O'Toole was joined by Michael Spillane in an Under-18 Republic of Ireland side that drew 0-0 with Holland in Dublin yesterday. O'Toole played for the first-half while Spillane completed the match. Last but not least, Rossi Jarvis had a 20 minute run out as a substitute for England Under-19's in front of a capacity 10,000 crowd at Bournemouth as the young Lions beat Poland 4-1. |
