23.04.07 - FONCY AUCTION PREVIEW

The FONCY committee is busy preparing for it's busiest day of the year with the Open Day at Carrow Road on Sunday April 29th.

As well as it's usual stall with souvenirs and some training kit, together with the 2007 raffle draw the highlight will be the traditional FONCY auction.

22.04.07 - LEICESTER CLINCH GROUP WIN AGAINST CANARIES

A young Norwich City Under-18's side went down 3-0 atLeicester yesterday as the Foxes confirmed first place in their Academy Group.

20.04.07 - FONCY PRODUCE KRIS RENTON COFFEE MUG
Canaries boss Peter Grant was on hand at Colney on Friday to present Kris Renton with the number 33 coffee mug that FONCY have produced in recognition of Kris becoming City's youngest ever senior player at the age of 16 years 276 days when he came on as a second half substitute in the game against Leicester City at the Walkers Stadium.

The mugs contain two photos of Kris along with his signature. Just 100 have been made and they are all individually numbered.

Priced at just 5.00 each, they will be on sale on the FONCY stand at next weeks Open Day, or you can get them by ringing John on 07768 317834.

17.04.07 - RUDD'S WEMBLEY DATE CONFIRMED
Declan Rudd
Norwich City goalkeeper Declan Rudd has been confirmed in the England Under-16 squad which will take on Spain at the new Wembley Stadium on April 28th (3pm).

Declan, already signed up to be a full-time scholar next season at Norwich, was most recently in action for England at the Montaigu tournament over Easter where England lost the final to Germany.

In that tournament Declan shared goalkeeping duties with Fulham's Wesley Foderingham and will be hopeful of playing at least part of the match in front of a big crowd at the new stadium.
Michael Spillane, meanwhile, has been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad that will play two friendlies in Prague next week against the Czech Republic as they warm up for their UEFA Championship Qualifying Group matches in May.

15.04.07 - CITY LOSE OUT TO BLUES

A young Norwich City Under-18's side went down 1-0 to Birmingham at Colney yesterday.

06.04.07 - TWENTY QUESTIONS WITH ROSS KELLY

We continue John Landamore's series of "Twenty Questions" today with midfield man Ross Kelly the next scholar in the spotlight.

Look out for further profiles through to the end of the season and in the summer.

05.04.07 - RUDD SET FOR NEW WEMBLEY
Norwich City goalkeeper Declan Rudd will be the envy of not just his school mates but many a Norwich City professional after being handed the chance of an early appearance at the New Wembley Stadium at the end of the month.

The FA have announced that England Under-16's will take on Spain Under-16's in a friendly at Wembley on April 28th (3pm) and the Academy keeper, already signed up as a scholar next year, will be hoping to be in the squad.

Declan is currently in France with the England Under-16 squad at the Montaigu tournament. Having missed out on the 3-0 win against Ireland on Wednesday the Diss youngster played a key role in yesterday's 0-0 draw with the USA. England's next match in the tournament will be on Saturday with the opponents dependent on today's results.

Michael Spillane, meanwhile, was part of the Republic of Ireland Under-19 team that drew 1-1 with Germany in Portugal yesterday and faces the host nation in a further game this evening.
