28.08.07 - NORWICH OFF TO A FLYER

Norwich Under-18's, commencing their Academy schedule a week late following their trip to France, got off to the best possible start with an away win at Millwall on Saturday.

Tom Miller got the all important goal in a 1-0 victory.

26.08.07 - RUDD IN ENGLAND ACTION

Academy keeper Declan Rudd joins up with England's new Under-17 squad this week for a Nationwide International Tournament against Northern Ireland, Turkey and Italy. While last season's squad are still taking part in the U17 World Cup in Korea, this year's squad gather to prepare for the upcoming UEFA qualifiers.

The warm-up tournament takes place in and around London with the first game on Wednesday against Northern Ireland in Brentford (7.45pm). For further details and to follow progress visit the FA's website at www.thefa.com/England/U17s. Declan Rudd

26.08.07 - U18's IN FRANCE - FULL REPORT AND PHOTOS

We have now completed our full report and extensive photo galleries from the Under-18's trip to the Bouligny International Tournament in France.

The Canaries finished fourth after a 2-1 defeat in the 3rd Place Play-Off against Nancy-Lorraine.

22.08.07 - UNDER-18s IN FRANCE

A Norwich City Under-18s Squad, augmented by young professionals Michael Spillane, Bally Smart and Steve Arnold, struggled to find their rhythm in last weekend's Bouligny International tournament in France.

16.08.07 - CITY REGAIN JACK CONSTANCE CUP

A City Academy side paid their annual visit to Beccles last night to contest the Jack Constance Cup and it was a team mainly consisting of Under-16's who regained the cup with a 6-1 victory.

As ever it was a friendly and enjoyable occasion on the Norfolk / Suffolk border.

14.08.07 - KINGS LYNN AND YARMOUTH - REPORTS AND PHOTOS

The weekend saw the Under-18 Academy teams, supported by members of the Under-16 squad, complete two friendlies against local youth team opposition.

Kings Lynn were the visitors on Friday evening with the Canaries winning 11-0, while Great Yarmouth provided Saturday morning's oppostion in a game that finished 12-1.

13.08.07 - UNDER-16'S IN AUSTRIA - MATCH REPORT AND PHOTOS

We have now completed our full report and extensive photo galleries from the Under-16's trip to the Megacard Cup in Austria recently.

The Canaries reached the final of a quality tournament only to lose 1-0 to Hertha Berlin in the tightest of games.

05.08.07 - UNDER-16'S FINALISTS IN AUSTRIA

An Academy Under-16 squad only failed at the final hurdle at the Megacard Cup in Austria last week.

Saturday's final saw the Canaries lose 1-0 to Hertha Berlin in the tightest of games.

05.08.07 - SMART DOUBLE SECURES WIN

A Norwich XI consisting of young professionals and Academy scholars won a friendly 3-0 at Dereham Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Under-18's next game is on Friday evening. That evening's game against Kings Lynn has now been moved to Colney with a 6.30pm kick-off. A mixed U16/U18 team will play Great Yarmouth, also at Colney, the following day. Meanwhile the annual Jack Constance Cup match at Beccles has been set for Wednesday 15th August.
