27.01.08 - CONGRATULATIONS DAMON AND DECLAN It was a good weekend alround for the Academy. Prior to the 3-0 Under-18 win at Southampton it was announced that Academy Midfielder Damon Lathrope has been offered a 2 1/2 year professional contract after impressing manager Glen Roeder. It also emerged that keeper Declan Rudd has returned to the England Under-17 squad following his injury lay-off before Christmas.

Declan joins up with England for the Algarve tournament in Portugal next weekend which serves as a warm-up for the UEFA Championship qualifying matches in March. England face Denmark, France and hosts Portugal between 2nd and 5th February in the Algarve. All at FONCY would like to pass on their congratulations to both players.

27.01.08 - ANCHORS AWAY FOR NORWICH Norwich Under-18s had a successful trip to the South Coast on Saturday, winning 3-0 at Academy Group leaders Southampton. 18.01.08 - MATCH POSTPONED The Academy Under-18 match at Fulham on Saturday has been postponed. As soon as we have a new date we will post the information on this site.

13.01.08 - LATE GOAL FOILS CITY Norwich Under-18's lost 3-2 against Chelsea at Colney on Saturday, having been two up against the Blues at one stage. Nick Davey and Luke Daley were City's scorers as Chelsea grabbed their winner deep into injury time. For the full match report and photos click here or on the photo right.

06.01.08 - GODFREY GIVES CHARLTON THE POINTS Norwich Under-18's lost 2-0 at Charlton on Saturday, although they will again feel they could have got something out of the game.
