| 27.02.08 - DAGENHAM RES PHOTO SPECIAL Norwich City Reserves took on Dagenham & Redbridge in a friendly on Wednesday afternoon and FONCY Chairman John Landamore was on hand to record the occasion in one of his now traditional "Photo Specials". For the record City ran out 2-0 winners with goals from Michael Spillane and Luke Daley. Steve Arnold saved a penalty from former Canary trialist Shabazz Baidoo while City gave a run out to a trialist in the form of Jordan Dowdioan. Photo Special |

27.02.08 - NORWICH RUN AGROUND Norwich Under-18s lost 2-1 at Portsmouth on Saturday in a game that they had more than enough chances to win. Midfielder Korey Smith put Norwich ahead in the first half before Pompey came back to claim the points with two goals from Louie Castle. | 20.02.08 - GOOD LUCK GARETH Second year trainee Gareth Matthews has cut short his scholarship at Norwich and returned to his home town of Dublin. Gareth made a final appearance for The Academy in the home defeat against Ipswich Town before he made the short flight home to Ireland. Gareth told FONCY Chairman John Landamore that he is planning to play for UCD and has future plans for trials at St. Patricks and Shamrock Rovers. Everyone at FONCY would like to wish Gareth all the very best for the future. |

18.02.08 - CITY LOSE LOCAL DERBY Norwich Under-18s lost to local rivals Ipswich Town at Colney on Saturday, losing 2-0 to two late goals after enjoying the better of the match for the first 75 minutes. | 13.02.08 - JED OFF TO HOLLAND Academy Under-16 goalkeeper Jed Steer has been included in England Under-16's squad for their friendly with the Netherlands to be played in the dutch coastal town of Katwijk on February 20th. Jed was part of the successful England Squad who defended the Victory Shield before Christmas. Another date for Jed to look forward to is the International Tournament at Montaigu in France over Easter where England Under-16's will face Japan, Germany and USA in Group games from 19th - 22nd March. |

10.02.08 - NORWICH FALL TO SEARS Norwich Under-18s went down 4-1 at Little Heath to West Ham on Saturday morning, Tom Miller scoring the Norwich goal ehile Freddie Sears grabbed a hattrick for the Hammers.
