28.10.08 - JED QUALIFIES WITH ENGLAND

England Under-17s, including Norwich Academy keeper Jed Steer, have qualified for the next elite qualifying round of UEFA Championships following two draws and a win in their groups matches in Spain.

Jed played in two of the three games - the 0-0 draw with Armenia last wednesday and last nights 1-1 draw with hosts Spain which secured qualification for the next round. Last nights match was not without it's challenges as England held on with only nine men for the last 15 minutes following two second yellow cards.

18.10.08 - CITY LEAD TWICE BUT LOSE

Norwich City Academy Under-18s twice took the lead through Kris Renton against Arsenal at Colney this morning.

Nevertheless, and despite the best efforts of an in-form Declan Rudd, Arsenal went on to win a thrilling game 3-2.

17.10.08 - ROB IN ACTION

After a busy schedule in Norwich covering the Academy Under-18 for FONCY, our southern correspondant Rob Maynard was back in action in Chelmsford on Sunday morning for the RUN 10K (Cancer Research UK) at Hylands Park.

Rob completed his run in 1hr 8 mins & 30 sec's and was looking to raise over £100 for Cancer Research. Well done Rob! (Photos Linda Maynard)

12.10.08 - CITY LOSE OUT IN LOCAL DERBY

Norwich City Academy Under-18s suffered third successive defeat on Saturday, going down 3-2 to local rivals Ipswich Town at Colney.

Tom Adeyemi and Kris Renton were the City scorers as the Canaries game back from a 3-0 half-time deficit.

12.10.08 - SOUTHAMPTON AT THE HELM

Norwich City Academy Under-18s suffered a disappointing 3-1 away at Southampton.

Schoolboy Joe Clark grabbed a consolation goal from all of 25 yards in the last minutes of the match.
