23.11.08 - FONCY AGM 2008

Last Monday saw the 2008 FONCY AGM take place at Carrow Road prior to the reserve game against Arsenal.

Chairman John Landamore reported on another successful year for FONCY, welcoming supporters and club officials, including the successful Under-13 squad who won the Norhalne Cup in Denmark in May.

23.11.08 - RENTON SECURES SNOWY WIN

Norwich City Academy Under-18s defeated Portsmouth 1-0 at Colney on Saturday in a game twice interrupted by heavy snow.

Kris Renton was the scorer of a fine goal to secure the vitory.

16.11.08 - SEBEK DENIES NORWICH VICTORY

Norwich City Academy Under-18s drew 2-2 at Chelsea on Saturday, with Jan Sebek in the Chelsea goal denying the Canaries victory.

Johnbull Omoregie and Luke Daley were City's scorers in a good match.

10.11.08 - CITY HIT FIVE

Norwich City Academy Under-18s got back to winning ways at Colney on Saturday, with a fine 5-1 victory against Charlton Athletic.

Kris Renton hit two goals and Danny Kelly a hat-trick for the young Canaries.

07.11.08 - ITS WIGAN IN THE YOUTH CUP

Norwich City have been drawn to face Wigan Athletic at Carrow Road in the Third Round of the FA Youth Cup. The date of the match has yet to be fixed but it must be played before December 13th.

The match will see a competitive return to Carrow Road for an old favourite with Dave Watson currently the Youth Team Manager at Wigan under First Team boss Steve Bruce. The Latics are not in the Academy set-up and play in the Youth Alliance.

04.11.08 - NORWICH TUMBLE AGAIN

Norwich City Academy Under-18s again lost out at Colney on Saturday, losing 2-0 to Fulham despite controlling significant parts of the game.

Two first half goals were enough to secure the win for Fulham in a match which saw two England Under-18 international goalkeepers in action.
