Adam has been at The Academy for a number of years and became a scholar at the start of the 2004/2005 campaign, although a serious knee injury almost prevented that and you will see in the question and answer section how much importance Adam places on the work done by the two people who helped him overcome that injury. David Williams describes Adam as a very determined individual and that became very apparent when, after being sidelined with an ankle injury for several weeks, he returned in time for the F. A. Youth Cup clash against Chelsea at Carrow Road and had the determination and strength to play all 120 minutes, as did Andrew Fisk who was out for a similar time with a knee injury. "Adam can and has played anywhere across the back four for me and Keith Webb", said David. "He is the best two-footed scholar at the club, indeed on that score there are a few pro's who would like to have that ability. He has a great attitude and has real ability". Adam has become a regular for the Reserves this season as well as the Under-18's and doubtless will be looking to get as much football as he can through the rest of the season.
